Biography:
About Me: I graduated with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University in College Station (go Aggies!), and worked in the CAST controls lab while I was there on hard platooning technologies for commercial vehicles. After graduating, I worked at Baker Risk Engineering Consulting in the Blast Effects team studying deflagrations, vapor cloud expansion, and the effects of these events on buildings and structures. I then started working at Los Alamos National Lab on the Data Analysis and Processing team for test engineering.
Currently, I’m working on the thermoelectric Brayton refrigeration cycle, where I’ll be focusing on database methods to find the best reaction couples for direct heating/cooling. My research interests include power generation, heat transfer, new instrumentation, and any technology involved in the push for carbon neutrality.
Hobbies: I love to cook and spend time outdoors! Beyond that, I enjoy lifting weights, snowboarding, and playing pool.
