Postdoctoral Fellow

Biography:

Dr. Juwon Lim is a Postdoctoral Fellow at Georgia Tech. He earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Korea University in Seoul, where he conducted research on nanomaterials for optoelectronic devices. He then obtained his M.S. and Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan in 2021 and 2024, respectively. His research at Michigan focused on calorimetric systems to explore radiative thermal transport and the thermodynamics of thermochemical reactions. He has published experimental demonstrations of novel photonic thermal transistors for manipulating thermal currents and calorimetric systems for thermal energy storage.

At Georgia Tech, he continues to advance the fields of thermal energy storage and thermo-electrochemical energy conversion through electrochemistry. His research interests include nanomaterials, optoelectronic devices, energy storage, and energy conversion.

Hobbies: Playing tennis, going to the gym, visiting art museums, and listening to classical music
